TRAINING Packages

1-ON-1

(1 hour)

This is the most fundamental and necessary type of session Pelota Training offers.  It is appropriate for male and female players of all abilities - recreation to professional, aged six years and older. This customized session will address the crucial elements of technique - first touch, dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting/finishing and heading.

2-ON-1

(1 hour)

When doing private sessions, Pelota firmly believes that the maximum ratio for optimal player benefit is 2 to 1. This type of session is perfect for players who train better with a friend or teammate who, along with their Pelota trainer, can motivate and push them to be their best.  Appropriate for female and male players of all ages and playing abilities.  Players should be of comparable ability when signing up together for this session.

Small Group

(1 hour)

Small Group sessions have the same format and structure as 1-ON-1 and 2-ON-1 sessions. The Small Group can be anywhere from 3 to 6 players - usually with players who are either teammates or know each other. Occasionally, we pair random players together, but we do that because they are the same level and would make a good group collectively.

Team

Attention Coaches and Club Directors!

We provide the opportunity for teams to experience Pelota Training as a group. This is not your usual team technical training! Every player will be on the ball for the entire 60 minutes - no lines, no waiting, no standing around. Depending on the needs of the team, 2-3 qualified Pelota trainers will implement our curriculum and philosophy, and provide the same intensive and technique-focused environment as our private sessions.

Club

Attention Coaches and Club Directors!

​Want to give all players in your club access to the opportunities provided in our private sessions? We offer club-wide packages, and will work with Club Directors to create a schedule that works for your club to implement Pelota Training in sessions that include all of your teams. Think "team technical training", but on a club-wide scale with 2 to 3 trainers per team. Every player will be on the ball for the entire 60 minute session - no lines, no waiting, no standing around.

Camps

Camps generally run Monday through Thursday or a 4-day window. Our camps have more kids than the clinics and are also in the late afternoon for 2 hours. Camps will be mostly technical training, but we will also want to incorporate small sided games, and possession/competition activities. Each camp has multiple coaches, so you get exposure to various coaching philosophies and styles.

Clinics

(2 hours)

Clinics have the same format and structure as regular sessions, just longer in duration (2 hours) with 10 to 20 players. During these sessions, multiple coaches run several types of drills. Players will benefit from various coaching styles, as well as training with players they don’t normally train with.
